35th Annual Great Western Fan Belt Toss & Swap Meet

Vintage CORSA of Orange County California is pleased to host the 35th Annual Great Western Fan Belt Toss & Swap Meet.
The event will be held at Sunrise Park in Palm Springs:
401 South Pavilion Way, Palm Springs, California
Located one block north of Ramon Road at the corner of Baristo Road and Pavilion Way, between Sunrise Way and Farrell Drive.
Event hours: Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

The deadline for pre-registration is October 1, 2012.
The host hotel is The Quality Inn, located at 1269 East Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA, 92644.

The Welcome Party will take place on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at The Quality Inn.

We will be serving non-alcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Bingo cards will be available for $2.00 each or three for $5.00.
The banquet will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 at The Spa Resort Hotel & Casino.
The Spa Resort Hotel and casino is located at: 100 North Indian Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA, 92262.
The event will take place in the Canyon Conference Center.
Drinks will be served (at your expense) from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.
Choices will include prime rib, chicken, fish or a vegetarian plate along with a host of side dishes. Coffee and desert will be provided.
This year’s grand prize is a 1963 Spyder Coupe, restored by South Coast CORSA.
Tickets are $25 each and are available directly from South Coast CORSA.

A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold and a limited amount will be available at the Fan Belt Toss.
Breakfast - pastries and coffee will be available for purchase in the morning

Lunch - The famous “Car-B-Que” is back! We will be serving up hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks for purchase in the afternoon.
South Coast CORSA will be hosting the Fan Belt Toss Games, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Swap Meet Spaces
Swap meet spaces will be available on Friday as soon as the field is set up and available.
All spaces will be 20’ X 20’ feet. Early registration is suggested as spaces will be assigned as registrations are received.
Ultra Van & RV Parking
Ultra Van & RV Parking will be available on Friday as soon as the field is ready.
Spaces will be assigned and limited to Friday and Saturday night only.
No hook-ups are available and no overnight street parking is permitted for motor homes.
Vehicles and/or trailer parking must be within the purchased space and movement on and off the field will not be permitted during the event.
People’s Choice Car Show
Event will take place on Saturday.
Vehicles must on the field and in place between 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Judging will take place 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Trophies will be awarded at 4:00 p.m on Saturday.
Car show winners will be provided preferred parking at Saturday night’s banquet.
